Ashgate is very pleased to be sponsoring the Hoyle Lecture in Transport Geography at the 2010 Royal Geographical Society with IBG Annual International Conference in association with the Transport Geography Research Group.
This year’s lecture, Distance, Speed and Time: The Fundamentals of Transport Geography, will be given by Professor David Banister on Wednesday 1st September, 2.40-4.20pm in the Pavilion at the Royal Geographical Society, London.
2010 also sees the 10th anniversary of our two book series in transportation, Transport and Society edited by Margaret Grieco and Transport and Mobility edited by Richard Knowles and Markus Hesse.
