Popular Ashgate books at this year’s AESOP conference in Helsinki

We very much enjoyed this year’s AESOP (Association of European Schools of Planning) Conference: “Space is Luxury”, held earlier this month at Aalto University, Finland, and there was a lot of interest in the books we had on display.

The book which attracted the most attention was the new Ashgate Research Companion to Planning Theory, edited by Jean Hillier and Patsy Healey.

The Companion presents a multidimensional collection of critical narratives of conceptual challenges for spatial planning, and the various authors provoke critical questions and debates over important issues for spatial planning and its future.  More about the book…
