Alison Kirk, Kerrie Hughes and Joe Gregory will be at the SLS conference in Southampton for Ashgate. If you’re there, do drop by the book display to say Hello and to browse through a selection of our books.
From the conference website:
The main theme of this year’s SLS Conference is the Human Rights Act [HRA] Ten Years On. The plenary sessions include contributions from senior judges, with Lord Justice Sedley of the Court of Appeal and Lord Reed of the Court of Session in discussion with Professor David Feldman and elsewhere Lord Justice Munby considering the impact of HRA 1998 in the field of family law. Roger Smith will provide a view in the new political climate from the perspective position of the all party law reform and human rights organisation Justice. The traditional diversity of Conference is maintained by Lord Justice Rix chairing a plenary panel on the inter-relationship between tort law and insurance. Subject section sessions will likewise draw on the main conference theme as well as discussing other pressing intellectual issues.
