Just War on Terror? A Christian and Muslim Response – reviewed in the THE

Just War on Terror?

More good feedback about Just War on Terror? A Christian and Muslim Response. Last month I blogged about the success of the book’s launch. Now we’re delighted to report on an excellent review of the book in the Times Higher Ed.

The review considers many of the different essays in the collection, and it’s difficult to pick out any one quote in particular, although I did like the comment on Sir David Omand’s contribution:

the chapter oozes authority, but it is also humane, unpompous and challengingly intelligent

Why not read the review for yourself on the THE website?

There CANNOT be a just war on terror as “terrorist” is defined as someone the U.S. does not like. The terrorist activities of the U.S are not defined as “terror”—with such an UNJUST definition—no war can be just.
