In recognition of the upcoming US presidential election, we have gathered together fifteen books we think will be of particular interest to you during this election season.

Among them are two new titles Ashgate has just published on current and past presidents:

R. Ward Holder and Peter B. Josephson’s The Irony of Barack Obama: Barack Obama, Reinhold Niebuhr and the Problem of Christian Statecraft and David B. MacDonald, Dirk Nabers and Robert G. Patman’s edited volume, The Bush Leadership, the Power of Ideas, and the War on Terror.

Also on our list is Barney Warf and Jonathan Leib’s recent edited volume, Revitalizing Electoral Geography, which explores how new social and technological developments are changing the way we evaluate voting patterns.
